What is a good 3D Modeling software out there?

I want to create images of warriors, knights, dragons, just basic "gaming" images but in 3d version.

Idc about learning, I learn fast, just what are some good 3D modeling softwares, and prices?

I've heard about:

Zbrush
VRay
3Ds Max

little help here is helpful

i recommend "blender" to people startin off cuz it's free and it works awesome. the GUI is a little odd but u will get used to it.
